About Us

  Established in 1982, Costa Mechanical Systems (CMS), LLC has been a solid mechanical contracting firm in western Pennsylvania.  Owner Joe Costa, Sr. is a second generation plumber.  He holds a master plumber's license from Allegheny County.  He has over 45 years of piping expertise and experience, particularly in the sewage and water treatment field.  He is personally involved with every project we undertake from the bidding process all the way to the completion date.  He has also prided his career on standing behind his work even long after warranty periods have expired.

     In 2004, Joe Costa, Jr. decided to join his father's business.  Joe Jr., a graduate of Duquesne University (B.A. '04), began working for the company as an estimator.  He decided to become more 'hands on' and acquired his journeyman's license in 2012 from Allegheny County, thus forging the business into yet another generation.  Joey (as he is often called) has particularly focused the company's efforts on the commercial side of the industry.  They have taken on bigger and bigger projects in the last decade and are still continuing to grow.  
     CMS continues to provide the same quality service that has been its foundation for over 40 years. Customer/client satisfaction has always been goal number one.  Whether a small/large commercial, design/build, processed piping or site/utility project, our firm is small enough to stay competitive in all areas yet capable of delivering big projects on time and on budget.
